I have always been looking forward to New Years.
More than the food, parties and whatnot, I love new year because I am actually excited what it will bring to me and my life. New year also means New beginnings. New hope. New learnings. New Friends. New adventures. New experiences. and a whole lot more that's NEW.

It also means New Travels. New Places and New Discoveries. I am planning for a lot of things. Places to go, things to do and more. But this year I also want to do one thing, and that is to SAVE!
Yet i believe it doesn't mean I need to give up this blog or traveling (I honestly cant give up traveling! No please. Not traveling). I know i can save even while traveling and still enjoying this life. Its just a matter of planning and knowing my priorities. So for this year, I will lessen my splurge travels. or spontaneous travels. But I know I can always cheat sometimes.
1. Coron (which is booked already for June 2012)
2. 1 Mindanao Destination (Davao probably hope to set by Sept)
3. 1 International Destination (Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, or Malaysia hope to set by Dec.)
As mentioned on my previous blog (tracing the roots) Baguio will always be the first place to go. So I am set for Baguio on the 2nd week of January.
Traveling is not a luxury. Its a passion. its more than learning cultures, exploring places and experiencing things. But it's more of surpassing your limits, crossing your boundaries, rediscovering yourself and finding your purpose of existence.
So never hesitate if you think traveling is for you. Go ahead. Book a flight and wander around and you'll be surprised by the discoveries you will find along the way.
