Last year, was a great year for Philippine basketball.
And I was definitely glad about the achievements of our National Team. Being a basketball fan myself, I was really proud of who we are, and what we do on the court.
I felt so blessed to have witnessed most of it. Even felt more blessed in having two basketball events at work.And I was definitely glad about the achievements of our National Team. Being a basketball fan myself, I was really proud of who we are, and what we do on the court.
Don't even ask what I was feeling during those times. Glad. Overwhelmed. Giddy. Overjoyed. Everything positive. Doing something closest to my heart was the best thing ever.

July 2014 Basketball Month for Megamall
The first action was the FIBA Trophy Tour.
Though there was no real basketball game that happened, the fans and me got crazy because of the GILAS Pilipinas team. Really grateful in meeting most of them. Got goosebumps when Coach Chot said in his speeach "PUSO" and when he called the gentlemen "Let's go boys!" like a head of an army as they head on to practice. Oh yes, I was on a fangirl mode during those moments. (sucks!)

Next event was way even bigger.
An actual 3x3 game inside the mall. In a basketball crazy nation, expect a large crowd and fans from all walks of life. Two days of pure basketball action. Four Filipino teams against eight other international squads.
It wasn't an easy road for the Filipino teams. Everyone had stretched themselves down the wire. But in the end, Team Manila West, consists of PBA Players (Terrence Romeo, KG Canaleta, Aldrech Ramos and Rey Guevarra) proved to everyone in that mall, that Filipinos won't let any foreign blood reign on our yard, atleast for the FIBA Asia 3x3, anymore.
