Exactly three days from now, I will be leaving my company of two years, SM
Megamall. I suck in saying goodbye, that's why I'm making a space in this blog
of mine to properly write my exit thank you’s to everyone who has been part of
my SM Life.
It’s been a crazy ride for the past two years with a lot of ups and downs,
lessons and successes. And the thought of leaving this life in a few days saddens me and excites me all at the same time. Yet looking back to
everything that I've been through, I am nothing but grateful for the whole
experience and I will admit that I will miss everything.
Thank you for putting up with me for the past 2 years. I could still remember my first day in the office, I honestly don’t know what to expect. Definitely had no idea what’s in store but just like the motto of Nike, you guys taught me to “Just do it”. Thank you guys for teaching me, for guiding me and helping me with my projects and making “salo” every time I needed. Thank you for all the memories both the good and the bad. Thank you for listening to the stories of my mala-maalala-mo-kaya life.
To KDF, thank you for reminding us to brand ourselves properly and the "if your heels aren't high enough it's not fabulous enough" (really helped me a lot), To Sam, thank you for always being my "kasama" in almost everything. To Abby, really thank you for teaching me how to fix my kilay, you don't know how much it changed my life! (hahaha) but seriously thank you. To Paula, alam mo na yun (sa internet access and everything). To Craig thank you for being the source of entertainment in the team, for always breaking the ice and all the pasalubong (a.k.a bribes). :) To Crissy, for all the help and encouragement. Thank you! Also, for the last time, my heartfelt apologies for all the headache I gave you guys.
I will definitely miss the stories, the late night ingresses, the lovelife sessions, the make up tutorials, everything. Wishing you guys all the best cause you deserve it, I'm gonna wait for your promos and 3 day sales. (Finally, pwede na ko sumali sa mga promos! chos lang!) hahahaha :)
To our ever reliable marketing boys, Kuya Campy and Kuya Jerry,
I don't think I will survive mega without you guys! Thank you for always saving the day. You've been so helpful to me all throughout my stay! Salamat sa lahat ng pag-ayos ng duct tapes, pagbigay ng chairs and tables, pagstay ng late for our events. Salamat sa lahat ng pakape, pachamporado, patubig at jokes niyo.
To my Mommy Mae,
I never want to tell you this pero since aalis na ako, (hahaha) sasabihin ko na, at first I'm really trying to avoid you kasi feeling ko super taray mo ahahah but im really thankful that it turned out differently. Thanks for the wonderful friendship. Mamiss kita kulitin everyday (weekly na lang siguro pag alis ko), pero alam kong mas mamimiss mo ko. hahahah. pero hello, you know I'm just one text away. :) Love you!
To Operations team, my favorite BAOs, AMMs and MMs,
Thanks for all your help guys! Especially for the basketball talks. (to the baos) Mawawalan kayo ng konting makulit hehehe. But really salamat!
To CRS team, My Tatay Geoff and Poging Wilmark,
Hihihi wala na akong utang na AIS ha! :) But really thank you sa pagassist sa lahat ng events. Pasensiya na if napapasakit namin ulo niyo. :)
Sa mga egsi,
The best kayo sa paghahanap ng food na mabibilan kada gagabihin ako sa work! Thank you guys!
To Roge,
Yes friend, totoo na ito. Thank you for always answering my SAP questions! hahaha you are indeed a master! Ituloy na natin ang taguig date #ParaSaEkonomiya :)
Indeed one of the best things in mega is the great friendship that you will find. I never thought saying goodbye will be this tough. Yet I want to believe that there's always good in every goodbye. And I want to figure that out. I will surely miss you guys, two years is a no joke. It has been my life and the mall has been my home.
I may not know what will happen next but I'm just excited where this journey will lead me.
God bless everyone and see you all around!
Love lots,
Jess <3
